For this week’s roundup of the best Latin America travel deals, we look south to Chile. You can get discounts of up to 30% on hotels in Santiago and Valparaíso, as well as discounts that are pegged to your age (finally, a reason to be proud of how old you are!). Further south, special rates are available for participants and spectators who attend the International Patagonia Marathon. Read on for details.
And remember that U.S. travelers no longer need a visa to enter Chile, which makes getting here an easier and less expensive experience (here are the details about the new Chile visa rules).
Don’t forget: You can get some of the best rates on airlines, hotels, rental cars and cruises by using LatinFlyer’s own travel booking engine — it’s at the top right-hand side of this page, where it says “Save Big on Your Trip.” With one click, you can compare airfares and rates from more than 10 top travel sites, including Expedia, Orbitz and Travelocity. No more wasting time when you travel!
