• July 30: Alexis y Fido, Latin Grammy nominated reggaeton duo from Puerto Rico, was nominated for the 2014 awards, “Album Urbano” with “La Esencia.” Alexis y Fido appeared on the reggaetón-centered drama, Feel the Noise, produced by Jennifer Lopez and starring R&B singer Omarion, Melonie Diaz and Rosa Arredondo.
• August 6: Angel & Khriz are a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo whose performances include opening for Premios Juventud and closing the 2006 Latin Bllboard Awards alongside Tito El Bambino and Wisin & Yandel.
