Great style — and tempting rates — at Condesa DF, in Mexico City.
Design Hotels, the international marketing consortium that represents an array of — you guessed it — design-conscious hotels and resorts, has unveiled some special promotions at its member properties around the world. Happily for travelers headed south of the border, the hotel deals are available with Grupo Habita, Mexico’s leading boutique hotelier.
Special hotel rates are available at several of my favorite Mexico properties. At the relaxed retro-chic Boca Chica (see my review here), which opened just a few months ago in Acapulco, you’ll get a 10% discount on the best available rate, breakfast included, for a minimum two-night stay. At the swanky-cool Condesa DF in Mexico City, guests receive a 15% discount on the best available rate for two-night minimum stays, breakfast included. And it gets better: You get 20% off for four-night stays, and 25% for stays of five to 99 nights (I can only wish I had 99 nights to spend here). Those looking for a Caribbean view can check out Grupo Habita’s minimalist Basico, in Playa del Carmen, where discounts are the same as at the Condesa DF.
Offers are valid for arrivals between June 25 and September 20. Those are just few of the properties participating; for more information, visit Design Hotels or e-mail them at res@designhotels.com.
