If you’re one of the many people fascinated by the work and lives of Mexican artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, then there are two must-see sites you need to put on your itinerary in Mexico.
During my most recent trip to Mexico City, my partner and I paid a visit to two of my favorite historic sites: The Museo Frida Kahlo, set in the home where the famed Mexican artist was born and died, and the Museo Casa Estudio Diega Rivera y Frida Kahlo (the Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo Home Studio Museum), where she and her famed husband lived and worked. Both former homes provide fascinating insight into the lives of two of Mexico’s most legendary creative minds. It’s a fascinating and personal look into a particularly interesting part of Mexican culture.
This photo gallery showcases some of my favorite visuals from our visit to these two fascinating sites — for me, a visit here is one of the most interesting things to do in Mexico City.
