Mexico City is a very visual place. It’s a fascinating, diverse metropolis where colors, action and visual treats await in every neighborhood. During my most recent trip to Mexico City, in between visiting 4 of the most fascinating museums in Mexico City and wandering the homes and studios of Mexican artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, I gave my cameras a good workout while strolling the sidewalks of Mexico City.
As usual, I found amazing visual treats in Mexico‘s capital — especially in the Centro Histórico, the historic downtown where colorful street performers make money alongside nuns selling food on the Zócalo city square and Calle Madero, the busy pedestrian thoroughfare (see more of my photos of Calle Madero’s street artists and performers here). I also documented a quinceañera photo shoot taking place at the foot of the Angel de Independencia monument, and the many colors and diversions of Chapultepec Park.
